Description of Services

  • Establish policy regulating the housing code enforcement of the Division of Housing and Property Inspections to insure effective enforcement of all laws and codes
  • Establish policy for and insure effective application of, all financial and technical assistance programs, and procurement of Federal and State grant funds in conjunction with City's affordable Housing program
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for housing programs and neighborhood revitalization initiatives.
  • Participate in developing comprehensive neighborhood development plans/programs
  • Develop partnerships to coordinate the use of public and private funds necessary to build better neighborhood
  • Secure funding and implement programs designed to improve the quality of housing in Buffalo neighborhoods
