Keep America Beautiful WNY Great American Clean-up Registration

Keep America Beautiful believes that each of us holds an obligation to preserve and protect our environment. Through our everyday choices and actions, we collectively have a huge impact on our world. It's really a simple concept, but one with far reaching effects.  Keep America Beautiful follows a practical approach that unites citizens, businesses and government to find solutions that advance our core issues of preventing litter, reducing waste, and beautifying communities.
Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup, the nation's largest community improvement program, takes place annually from April 1 through May 31, 2010 involving an estimated 3 million volunteers and attendees. The hardworking volunteers donated more than 6.7 million hours in 2008 to clean, beautify and improve more than 17,000 communities during more than 30,000 events in all 50 states and beyond. Activities included beautifying parks and recreation areas, cleaning seashores and waterways, handling recycling collections, picking up litter, planting trees and flowers, and conducting educational programs and litter-free events.

• You can pick up your trash bags and gloves at the following locations from April 15 to May 15. Please note the days and times that each location is open for pick up.
