Description of Services - Audit expenditures of all City Departments, Boards, Buffalo Sewer Authority and Water Board
- Audit the expenditures of the Board of Education Capital Project Funds
- Audit City payrolls and various Federal, State and County grand payrolls for accuracy and compliance with ordinances
- Perform audits on the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of all City Governmental Operations
- Maintain record of compensation awards and payments, public official bonds and liability insurance for contracts
- Review new and existing computerized systems utilized for revenue, expenditure, and managerial reporting and recommend improvements
- Perform routine audits of revenue producing sources to include Federal, State and County grants Also perform special audits as required by Common Council, unique situations, public and government requests.
