Description of Services

The Zoning Board of Appeals hears and decides Variance applications filed by applicants who have been denied Building or Use permits by the Office of Permits. The Board consists of five members, including a chairman, who have been appointed to three year terms by the Mayor of Buffalo. The Board meets monthly (except in August) at 2 PM in room 1802, City Hall. Hearings are open to the public.
