Culter Director of Communications 716-851-4841 Program designed to assist residents with home repairs BUFFALO-Mayor Byron W. Brown announced today that the City of Buffalo will once again offer funding for emergency repairs for city residents, beginning Monday, July 24, 2006. The City of Buffalo Emergency Repair Program addresses emergency situations such as utility service interruption and the repair of specific house systems that are in poor or dangerous condition. All applicants must meet the income guidelines set forth by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Funds are available as full conditional grants, partial conditional grants and no interest loans, based on the household income of the applicant. Funds are available citywide.
