Mayor Brown Kicks Off Phase I of the Reconstruction Project for Porter Avenue

Mayor Brown kicks off Phase I of the reconstruction project for Porter Avenue.  This project will total $3 million. This $1,480,300 streetscape improvement will transform the city’s gateway to and from Canada, vehicle and pedestrian safety, aesthetics.  This project raises to $9.2 million the total of infrastructure improvements announced for this section of the city, underway or recently completed in this section of the city. The project includes: reconstruction of the Centennial Pool complex, LaSalle Park upgrades, and reconstruction of the Fargo Corridor, between Porter Avenue and Connecticut Street.
