The City of Buffalo Partners With Re-Tree WNY for Reforestation Efforts
The City of Buffalo will partner with Re-Tree WNY this fall to continue ongoing reforestation efforts in the City of Buffalo. Re-Tree WNY was formed shortly after the 2006 October Surprise storm, with the goal of planting 30,000 trees throughout WNY over the next five years to replace those that were lost as a result of the storm.

Mayor Byron W. Brown today announced that fees for block party permits issued by the City of Buffalo will again be waived for National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 7, 2007. This is the 24th year for the event.
