BUFFALO—Mayor Byron W. Brown has announced that the City of Buffalo will continue its annual curbside collection of large bulk trash. The attached schedule indicates the spring and fall bulk trash collections in the city’s nine Councilmanic districts.

“Keeping our streets clean is an important part of establishing pride in the City’s neighborhoods,” said Mayor Brown. “Our crews will continue doing their best, and we appreciate all of the residents who do their part by following the trash collection guidelines.”

Trash must be put out on Sunday of each bulk trash week. Each property is limited to putting out trash that is 12 feet long, 3 feet high and 3 feet wide. Any trash that exceeds these specifications is subject to a fine. Solvents, paints and tires will not be accepted. If you do not know which Council District you live in, or if you have any questions about your trash, call the Mayor’s Hotline: 851-4890.
