SALVATORE'S WORLD CLASSIC RESTAURANT

A life long dream of Russell Salvatore was to create an everlasting landmark for his beloved City of Buffalo, Western New York and beyond. His overall concept was intended to afford an unforgettable entity, which began with his revered father Joseph who, in 1934, and during a very halcyon era, established a popular and notable restaurant located in the east Delavan neighborhood of Buffalo.

Little did his Dad imagine what his son would bring forth by producing a most elegant and prestigious showplace of incomparable stature. To attempt to describe its total splendor would be most difficult. It can be best classified as an outstanding genre of contemporary Italianate design. Along with his talented son Joseph, Russell was able to surmount all challenges, including a destructive fire (1994), which would have concluded anyone's hopes and dreams.

In closing, this particular painting forged a most significant parallel in the fact that both Mr. Russell Salvatore and the artist lived one city block away during their early formative years and now, today, they both can look back through those memorable years and marvel with great joy as their different paths fervently cross once again.
