Notice of Public Information Meeting

The City of Buffalo, Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) and Erie County are sponsoring a joint public information meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2004, from

5:00 P.M.  – 8:00 P.M.  to be held at the Valley Community Center – 93 Leddy Street, Buffalo, New York in order to start public dialogue for the design and construction of a multi-use

Pedestrian /Bicycle recreational Trail for the following projects currently being designed in the City of Buffalo:

 

1-Tifft Street Greenway - PIN#5756.79 (City of Buffalo)

2-Port / Outer Harbor Waterfront Trail - PIN#5756.74 (NFTA & Erie County)

 

The meeting will begin with an open house at 5:00 P.M. and a brief presentation at 6:00 P.M. followed by an open forum public meeting where questions and comments will be addressed by Representatives from the City, NFTA, Erie County and the Design Consultants.

 

Public input is a key element to the success of these projects. All interested persons and organizations are encouraged to attend this meeting to familiarize themselves and provide ideas and perspectives to the Design team.
