PAL Sneak Peak of 2015 Silent Auction Items

A new generation of givers reflects the generosity of the Buffalo community

November 9, 2015 – With the annual PAL Auction just around the corner, Mayor Byron Brown, the Police Athletic League of Buffalo (PAL) Board of Directors and PAL supporters today encouraged city residents, business owners and others to attend the 15th annual Police Athletic League of Buffalo (PAL) Auction on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens, located at 6461 Transit Road, Depew.  The auction is a fundraiser for the non-profit organization.  Proceeds are used to support the many quality programs and services provided by the Buffalo Police Athletic League.

“The work of the Buffalo Police Athletic League is vitally important, improving the quality of life of many of our city youth,” said Mayor Brown, the honorary co-chair of the 2015 PAL Auction.  “PAL programs make a significant difference in the lives of our children and I encourage all city residents to do what they can to support the upcoming fundraiser which directly benefits this organization which focuses on bringing police and the community even closer together, particularly our officers and young people.”

The PAL was established to provide programs that help to improve the quality of life for Buffalo youth. The annual auction raises vital funds, enabling PAL to serve the youth of our region with quality programs and services. PAL serves over 20,000 children annually in the Greater Buffalo and Western New York community with, supervised activities in safe, structured environments. PAL is well known for its sports programs (such as tennis, boxing, golf and basketball) but also provides cultural & educational programs such as reading, culinary arts and mentoring and leadership.

PAL hosts many special events over the course of each year.  However, the annual Fundraising Auction is the capstone event used to raise vital funds to continue the invaluable programs that PAL provides.  2015 Sponsorship opportunities are still available! There’s also still time to donate a gift to be auctioned or to make a monetary donation.  For more information, please contact the PAL Office at 851-4615 or download sponsorship Packages
