Description |
World War II era submarine torpedo is mounted on metal brackets. The
bronze plaque located in front of the torpedo has an abstract relief
depicting two fish. Inscription on plaque reads: "U.S. Submarine
Veterans of World War II." The plaque lists the number of submarines
lost and submariners killed during World War II, and indicates that
the memorial is dedicated to those men still "on patrol."
