MEMORANDUM OF MEETING

 

PROJECT: ScAjaquada CORRIDOR STUDY

PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING

DATE: JANUARY 9, 2002

TIME: 5:30 P.M.

LOCATION: BUFFALO AND ERIE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

 

 

 

A public information meeting was held to inform the public of the overview, focus areas, and key issues for the Scajaquada Corridor Study. The meeting followed the agenda below:

5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Open House

7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Presentation

8:00 to 9:00 p.m. Question and Answer

9:00 p.m. Open House Resumes

During the open house the public was asked to register and they received a handout with study facts and a comment sheet. A copy of the registration and handouts are attached. There were five stations with the following diagrams:

 

 

 

Comment sheets could be mailed or handed in at this meeting (see attached comments for sheets received at this meeting). Comment sheets received after this meeting will be compiled and distributed to the Advisory Group. At each station notes were taken to record verbal comments received (see attached comments) during the open house.

A presentation was made to describe the study overview, process and schedule, existing descriptions, and focus areas with key issues. After the presentation there was a question and answer period. Verbal comments received were recorded (see attached comments).

[Note: All comments received will be addressed and incorporated into the first technical memorandum, which summarizes existing conditions, problem identification, key issues and alternatives. The first technical memorandum is expected to be finished prior to the third Advisory Group meeting in February.]

The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:30 p.m.
