A public information meeting was held to inform the public of the overview, focus areas, and key issues for the Scajaquada Corridor Study. The meeting followed the agenda below:

During the open house the public was asked to register and they received a handout with study facts and a comment sheet. A copy of the registration and handouts are attached. There were five stations with the following diagrams:

• Station 1 had a plan for the corridor between Grant Street and Delaware Avenue with diagrams for focus areas with key issues at the Grant St. interchange, Buffalo State College wall, Elmwood Ave. interchange.

• Station 2 had a plan for the corridor at Delaware Avenue with diagrams for a focus area with key issues at Delaware Avenue.

• Station 3 had a plan for the corridor between Delaware Avenue and Agassiz Circle with diagrams for focus areas with key issues at the intersection of Parkside and Rt. 198, Buffalo Police Radio Tower, and Buffalo Parks Administration Center.

• Station 4 had an overall plan of the corridor with key capacity and accident issues identified and located.

• Station 5 had an overall plan of the corridor with focus areas identified.

• Miscellaneous diagrams for the meeting agenda, study process and schedule, historic diagrams of Delaware Park, existing condition and various options for proposed typical sections.

Comment sheets could be mailed or handed in at this meeting (see attached comments for sheets received at this meeting). Comment sheets received after this meeting will be compiled and distributed to the Advisory Group. At each station notes were taken to record verbal comments received (see attached comments) during the open house.

A presentation was made to describe the study overview, process and schedule, existing descriptions, and focus areas with key issues. After the presentation there was a question and answer period. Verbal comments received were recorded (see attached comments).

[Note: All comments received will be addressed and incorporated into the first technical memorandum, which summarizes existing conditions, problem identification, key issues and alternatives. The first technical memorandum is expected to be finished prior to the third Advisory Group meeting in February.]
