Description |
Engraved with Marine Corps seal and a landscape scene. Inscription
reads: "Dedicated to all the men and women who served in the U.S.
Marine Corps and Navy personnel who served with them 1939-1946."
Memorial lists all special Marine Corps units of WWII. Satellite
pedestal is engraved with a map of the islands fought for in the South
Pacific and includes a bronze plaque of the Marine Corps seal.
